Let's see, the last I posted was July 19th, and that was just the story. So...I don't remember when the last post was that talked about my life. I'll just start from when I got a new phone.
Yes, I did get a new phone. E-mail me if you don't already have the number and you want it. ...At first, I didn't get texting. I decided that I didn't want texting till I got a job. But then I realized that it might be awhile until I can actually get a job. So..! Yesterday I decided to get it with some birthday money. Kurtis had it that whole time, so he's pretty popular now, haha.
After getting a phone, I called very few people. That was Friday...July 21st. Then, on Sunday, I went to Janae's church. Why? Because she'd just gotten back from Washington, and she was leaving again, so I wanted to hang out with her. So, I visited her church and hung out for a few hours. Then, Monday, I was like, planning a party, but it was rescheduled. Pretty frustrating, too. I also went to VBS to help out.
Tuesday was my birthday. July 28th (remember that date, I might quiz you later! hahaha). It was a horrible day to be my birthday. I had driver's ed until 12, and then I had drive time till 3. The class part wasn't so bad because I actually made a friend. Her name is Haley. I might talk about her more later on, hahaha, just kidding. Anyways, after driving in a hot car (as in temperature) for three hours, Keith picked Kurtis and I up at L.B. Keith decided to be nice that day, since it was our birthday, so he took us to the mall. I didn't know what I wanted. Kurtis didn't know what he wanted. But we found somethin. Then Keith ran out of money, so we went to the bank. Keep in mind that July 28th was probably the hottest day of the week. I'm usually fine in the heat, but this was just overwhelmingly hot. All I wanted was to go home. It was bad enough to get up so early on my birthday, but the heat really made things worse. I didnt' end up getting home until about 5 PM. We were only home for probably 20 minutes. Mom and Dad wanted to take us out to eat, then watch a movie. Ugh. They meant well, though!
July 29th didn't exist in my book. I woke up at dinner time. Almost right after I got out of the shower, we left to go help out at VBS. So, my little hybernation time got me away from that hot Wednesday.
Kolby's birthday, July 30th, was pretty fun. His friends came over, and then we took them to Wunderland. While they played, I went with my grandma to Toys R' Us. We bought him somethin for his birthday. He enjoyed it, haha.
Friday was another party. This was our family party, since it was birthday week in the Clark house. Today is actually my Uncle's birthday. Anyways, we had fun at the party, and I got a bunch of gifts.
Saturday I invited a bunch of church friends over for yet another party. That was also fun, but it seemed like it didn't last long enough. We watched Eagle Eye the movie. It was really good. Reminded me of i-Robot because the giant computer was the bad person. Why is the computer always a girl?? Just wondering.
Today was ok. I was disappointed that I couldn't go hang out with Derek and them at the Mall. I helped my grandpa move his little business into the mall. I was surprised when I saw Whitney's mom there. I didn't realize that they were going to the Heritage Mall when I was invited. I got to hang out for a couple minutes though! And I found my new tie for the year. I'm going to go back to Rue21 and get it whenever......it was all black with neon green peace signs! How cool is that!?? If you didn't notice, black and green are my favorite combonations of colors.
I am now 16 years old. Summer break is well over half over, and I'm not ready to go back to school. I am going back to East Linn, though. By some miracle, we got money. I don't know if I'm allowed to say how, but we did! And no, we didn't have to rob a bank, or win the lottery. The only sucky part is, is that I was actually looking forward to going to West Albany, even though that wouldn't have happened anyways. We would have gone to Lebanon unless we moved before the school year started. But that's very unlikely. To be honest, though, I still kinda want to move. Actually, I really want to. Not just kinda. I've never really known what it was like to live in a place that wasn't known for smokers! hahaha
*Sigh* I gotta go drive now. Text me if you wish, but if you catch me while I'm driving, I won't reply....
